    Description

    A rare 9" red transfer Adams Staffordshire American Scenes plate depicting a SCENE NEAR CONWAY N HAMPSHIRE. Stamped illegibly ADAMS to reverse, the plate likely dates to the mid 1830s.  Very good shape with minor reverse discoloration and (one of the three plates) with a pinhead flake to backside.
